Charming staff, but needs upgrades

The receptionist was cute, providing invaluable local insights. Rooms were clean was nice.

The overall maintenance was lacking, with problems like a broken exhaust fan and an unclean pool locker room that left much to be desired.

Greatly enjoyed our reasonably large and immaculate rooms in this hotel.

Units in bathtubs. Location: the hotel was just off bike trail, Michigan and restaurants.

Location near restaurants, gas stations, party stores and interesting sites and fair grounds. And a 15-minute walk from Calvary Baptist Church. Exceptionally clean and immaculate rooms with continental breakfast and 2 king size beds, as example, very nice stay!

Recommend for a city break

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a convenient location allowed us to enjoy our stay, especially with the indoor swimming pool and hot tub providing a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the area.

The hot tub was lovely! The place had that old-school charm, and the staff were so friendly it seemed like home. Definitely coming back next time!

But really, if I wanted to hear party noise, I'd just invite my neighbors over. I barely slept, and my skin's still recovering from the questionable hot tub!

Staff were nice and pro enhanced the experience. The room setup was satisfactory for a family, but the advertised hot breakfast fell short, with only packaged rolls and no juice available. The tub leaked, and some light fixtures were nonfunctional, which detracted from the overall comfort. Despite the clean location, significant improvements in amenities and room maintenance are needed.

The cozy queen room was perfect for our family, and the nearby outdoor activities offered fun nature walks. The facility was well-kept, and the staff friendly, especially with a little baby!

In my wife's opinion, the pool could have been a bit cooler. It would be nicer for families if there were more shaded areas to relax with kids.

The room was pretty spacious but the mattress was really bad-definitely needed an upgrade. A lot of things felt outdated, like the linens and furniture. The tub had a leak, super annoying. The lighting wasn't great either. Some lights didn't work. It could've been a lot better, especially for the price.

I enjoyed the spacious and clean king room. The cozy furnishings were perfect, and the cute lobby with comfy seating.

Amazing hotel with free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and 24-hour reception. The friendly staff helped me find parking during my first stay. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a quick getaway! I'll be back for my business trip.

The rooms have bathtubs, a wide selection of breakfast items, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and it is located in a peaceful spot near a bike trail.
